Since I started writing, I can’t read without a yellow marker. It’s not just about the story anymore. It’s much more. Now I appreciate the author’s artistry where before I never gave it much of a thought. Often a deeper part of them resonates in their stories. You can feel it and you want to equal it like the the reality of their dialogue, the uniqueness of their characters, and descriptive phrases they’ve sculptured. Telling metaphors always get a touch of yellow.
Sometimes, I have to put the book down and write something. That to me, is the greatest compliment I can pay a writer—that and my yellow marker.
It’s why Library books don’t work.
It’s why Kindle is a great tool.
I dedicate this page to all writers, without comparison.
